Sunday Post | It’s Monday! What are you reading?

Linking up with Kimberly @ Sunday Post and Kathryn @ It’s Monday! What are you reading?

ᕼᥲρρყ ᒍᥙᥒᥱ! ☀️ What have you been up to? I’ve been walking more and listening to audiobooks again. I’ve taken a few trips to the library and bookstore for inside browsing, which I haven’t done since February 2020. It was so much fun!

Do you have a Little Free Library near you? I’ve been searching for one close by because I have several ARCs I’d like to donate. I did find a LFL a few blocks away, but it only had children’s books in it. My daughter wouldn’t let me add my thrillers, lol. My search continues! 📚

What I’ve Been Reading:

OF WOMEN AND SALT by Gabriela Garcia (⭐⭐⭐)
THE INVISIBLE HUSBAND OF FRICK ISLAND by COLLEEN Oakley (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
THE LISTENING HOUSE by Mabel Seeley (⭐⭐⭐½)
RULE OF THREES by Marcy Campbell (⭐⭐⭐⭐½)
🎧 THE STARS OF WHISTLING RIDGE by Cindy Baldwin (⭐⭐⭐⭐)

  1. There are a few LFLs at coffee shops here and it’s always fun to see what they have. I have The Listening House coming up on my reading list and I’m really looking forward to reading it. Have a great week!

  2. One of my husband’s friends built a LFL for our church! It’s so cute because it’s an exact replica of the church. I’m in a bit of a reading slump. Any suggestions to help me get out of it?

    • That would be so cute! I love when LFLs match the house/building they’re near. I was in a reading slump in April. On a whim I just picked up some middle grade books for something different and really enjoyed them. I’m listening to one now called An Occasionally Happy Family. It’s so funny and touching at the same time.

  3. Nope, no little free libraries around here. Wish we had!

You have some great books. I’ve been interested in The invisible husband or Frick Island.

Hope you will have a good week ahead!

  4. We do have some of the LFL’s near us (they’ve been popping up)- I always smile when I see one. :)

I like the look of the Kubica book!

  5. We have a number of Little Free Libraries in our town–our public Library put up several at parks and then a number of people have them in their yard. I usually drop 1 or 2 books off once a week at a park LFL. I would love to have my own, but I’m not sure our HOA would allow that. Sigh.

    Have a great week!

  6. I haven’t seen any LFL’s around here. I enjoyed The Invisible Husband of Frick Island. It’s been too hot here for me to walk and listen to my audiobooks but I’m hoping to get back to it soon. Have a great week!

  7. I have bags of books I’d like to move out of my house. I need to find a source. LFLs would be good but I don’t know of any near me. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  8. I was getting a lot of use out of the Little Free Library my neighbor has but they moved and the new neighbors do nothing, and I mean nothing, to maintain it. There is literally trash in there now and books falling everywhere. I was putting all of my ARCs in there but now, nope. I want to get my own but they are not cheap and my dog would be barking every time something stops to take a look.

  9. Some good looking books, like how you list books and put your star ratings, gives a feel for how you found the book, might start doing that as I only review fully the books I have for review.
