Favorite Books of 2022
Here’s a look at my top 10 12 books read in 2022. I did a lot of reading the first half of the year, really up through August. Then work started back and it killed my reading mojo, unfortunately. I finished the year strong though, completing a total of 90 books (about a third of those were children’s books). In no particular order, here are my favorites:

Book of Secrets 
Honestly, I hadn’t even heard of most of these books (but I was living under a book free rock for most of last year). I’ll definitely have to check some of these out.

I’m not even going to do a ‘favorites’ list for 2022 as my reading was so awful for the last quarter of the year. However, hoping 2023 is better. As to your list, I have several on my TBR (or even already on my Kindle) and I’ve read THE OVERNIGHT GUEST and THE IT GIRL. Liked them both. Right now, I’m reading THE ROSE CODE by Kate Quinn. It’s for a book group on Thursday and I don’t think I’ll get it finished, but maybe it will be close. I’ll go anyway to see what others have thought. I’m liking it a lot so far. The only other one I’ve read by Quinn is THE ALICE NETWORK and that one was very good too.

I am coming back to this when I need some thriller recs, I’m definitely eyeing that E. Lockhart book since I read her other book years ago. Hope your 2023 is full of new favorites!

Great list of mysteries & thrillers! The Girl in the Mirror and Beneath the Stairs intrigue me. I think I’m going to have to check those out. Happy 2023! :D

Great list! I loved The It Girl. Ware is usually hit or miss for me, but this one was SO GOOD. And Family of Liars, ugh, SO GOOD also.
